Below is a list of the most common dental emergencies we treat:
|
A dental emergency is an urgent dental problem, usually associated with the teeth and jaws, which may have symptoms that require immediate attention by a dentist. For example, a severe dental infection, a visible swelling, or a recent dental trauma are all considered emergency problems that require prompt, professional attention.

COSmetic Dentistry
When it comes to improving the beauty of your smile, you have several procedures as options. Based on what oral imperfections you have, our dentist will suggest the best-suited cosmetic dentistry procedure.
What is Cosmetic Dentistry?
It is that branch of dentistry that specifically focuses on improving the aesthetics of your teeth and gums. The procedures that are classified as cosmetic surgery may not necessarily solve the discomfort and issues associated with the oral problem. But these procedures will target the factors that can tarnish your smile. If your teeth are stained, discolored, worn, chipped, broken, misaligned, misshapen, or have gaps between them, modern cosmetic dentistry can give you a better smile.
Some of the most common cosmetic dentistry procedures are:
Teeth Whitening
Teeth can appear yellowish or may get discoloured due to several reasons such as fluoridation, enamel depletion, genetics, progressing age, or staining due to pigmented foods like coffees, teas, curries, berries, sauces, and so on. Irrespective of the reason, your teeth can be whitened using special peroxide gel and UV light in our dental clinic. The procedure is much better, efficient, and long-lasting than your over-the-counter whitening solutions.
Dental Veneers
These are wafer-thin coverings that are attached to the visible surface of the front teeth using a dental cement when you have cracked, chipped, fractures, discoloured, or slightly gapped teeth. Dental veneers are available in two variants - the more popular porcelain veneers and temporary composite veneers. These veneers, especially porcelain ones, are stain resistant and can easily survive for about a decade with proper care. These veneers only conceal any oral imperfections and don’t specifically solve any issues caused due to affected teeth.
Dental Bonding
One of the best solutions for your broken or fractured teeth is dental bonding. A tooth-coloured resin is applied to the broken part of the tooth and is then hardened using UV light. Among the easiest and least expensive of cosmetic dental procedures, bonding can repair chipped or cracked teeth, close gaps, change the shape of teeth, or be used as a cosmetic alternative to silver amalgam fillings.
Inlays and Onlays
Defective or unsightly “fillings” can be replaced by tooth-colored inlays and bonded to the tooth. Onlays also fit inside the tooth, but extend onto the chewing surface of a back tooth to replace one or more cusps. Dental inlays and onlays are restorations used to repair rear teeth with decay or cracked and fractured teeth that are not sufficiently damaged to need a crown.
